Florals, oiliness, a hint of wood-fired roast
“Cloud Temple” is the peak of Master Zhao and his son’s craft. The leaf opens with a complex perfume, an oily body and a long finish — fine florals and a light smoke from wood-fired roasting.
It tastes like highland Lugu: clean air, quiet gardens and the old Dong Ding school. This is a grown-up oolong, not a tourist light roast.
