A classic of the “Feng Huang” (Phoenix) line from the Nan Jian Tu Lin factory, produced in 2004. A ripe pu-erh pressed as a tuo cha (“nest”), 250 g.
Years of ageing have cleared away the harsh earthy notes. The liquor is dark, very clean and clear.
The aroma and taste bring sugar cane and sweet fruity shades. The flavour opens up from infusion to infusion, showing best from the 7th to the 13th, and recalls candy and burnt sugar.
